Job summary

MaineHealth seeks an Interventional Pain Physician to serve Belfast and Rockport, Maine. The ideal candidate is Board Certified/Eligible and will provide medical management and a procedural practice focused on alleviating pain.

The role supports a program that includes behavioral health, complementary modalities and interventional medicine, with opportunities for fluoro-guided and ultrasound-guided injections across spine and extremities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship training completed by an ACGME accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted State of ME medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional pain management for musculoskeletal, back and neck pain.
• Manage medical aspects of spine and neck complaints; procedural practice to alleviate pain.
• Coordinate with behavioral health, rehabilitation modalities and other services as described in the program.
• Perform fluoro-guided spinal injections and ultrasound-guided injections.

Education
