Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification as required by state regulation.
• All appropriate state licensure, and/or certification education and training (if any) required.
• 1–2 years' related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and setup of the procedure room in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stock procedure room and trays with supplies and interventional equipment.
• Prepare patient for procedures, position and prep as needed.
• Provide scrub and circulating support during interventional procedures under fluoroscopy.
• Assist with medication preparation and labeling within scope of practice and state regulations.
• Transfer and reposition patients and transport to/from procedure room.
• Maintain sterile technique and confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Assist with instrument sterilization and packaging of surgical instruments.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are on hand and available for physicians and staff.
