Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a casual Registered Nurse (RN) for the Interventional Imaging team at the University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank in Minneapolis, MN. The RN assesses, plans, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for assigned patient populations in accordance with policies and the MN Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires an MN RN license, BLS/ACLS, and IR/CC experience with a focus on collaborative care and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required to practice in MN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of hire.
• Minimum two years IR, Critical Care experience in ICU, ED or similar.
• Previous IR/Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop a nursing plan within an integrated care framework.
• Collaborate with patients, families and health team to plan care.
• Create individualized plans based on age, condition and needs.
• Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patient, family and health team across settings.
• Promote evidence based practice and continuous improvement to improve outcomes.
• Support a culture of safety and quality in Interventional Imaging.
