Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a clinical nurse who provides patient care, assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation within an academic health system. The role involves assisting with procedures and patient education, and requires flexibility to float to multiple UCI Health locations as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current California RN license, and 2 years of Interventional GI experience, with strong English communication and infection control

Qualifications

• Float to all UCI Health locations as needed.
• PALS certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 6 months demonstrated nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
• Knowledge and practice of infection control techniques.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 2 years current Interventional GI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients focusing on meeting clinical needs.
• Perform patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Assist with procedures and patient education.
• Float to all UCI Health locations as needed.
