Job summary

UCI Health in California is seeking a clinical nurse who will provide direct patient care, assessment, planning, and education for patients across our clinics. The role requires flexibility to float to all UCI Health locations and to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required are a BSN, current California RN license, and certifications (PALS per hire, BLS, ACLS). Experience in interventional GI and strong English communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for external candidates
• PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications preferred or required upon hire
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience in acute or ambulatory care
• Excellent English communication and infection control knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients with focus on clinical needs
• Perform patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Assist with procedures and patient education
