Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a clinical nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in our clinic setting. The role includes assessment, planning, interventions, and education, with the ability to float to all UCI Health locations as needed.

The nurse reports to the Administrative Nurse and collaborates across teams to ensure quality care. Required qualifications include a BSN and current California RN license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; CA RN license required.
• PALS certification upon hire; current BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Must float to all UCI Health locations as needed; strong English communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control, body mechanics, and ability to maintain a professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients in the clinic.
• Perform patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Assist with procedures and patient education.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float to different UCI Health locations as needed.
