Job summary

AdventHealth Castle Rock in Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our invasive care team. You will assess patients, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and provide skilled nursing interventions, including IVs, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.

You will document patient status and outcomes in our systems, support family education, and help manage unit resources and patient flow with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in Colorado.
• 1+ year experience in specialty nursing preferred.
• BLS, ACLS required; RCIS preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Document patient status and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Manage resources and patient flow by matching nursing competencies to unit needs.
