Job summary

AdventHealth Parker in Parker, Colorado seeks a skilled RN to join the Cath Lab team on a PRN daytime schedule. You will assess patients, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and prepare for invasive cardiology procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath lab experience required.
• RN license required; BLS and ACLS required; RCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of records.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes according to nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocate for and protect the health, safety, and rights of each patient; provide patient and family education.
