Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab technologist to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary, vascular, and EP procedures. The role requires setup and operation of imaging and monitoring equipment, strong knowledge of hemodynamics, and adherence to sterile technique to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates will hold a Radiologic Technology certificate, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT registration where applicable.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology certificate required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications as specified.
• ARRT registration preferred.
• Active licensure/certifications per facility and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive/diagnostic procedures and EP studies.
• Set up and operate imaging and electrical equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiac anatomy for procedures.
• Monitor patient status and ensure sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the team to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
