Job summary

Carle Health seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary and EP procedures, set up imaging equipment, and monitor patient safety during procedures.

The role requires knowledge of hemodynamics, fluoroscopic anatomy, and the ability to administer moderate sedation per protocol. You will participate in team-based care, ensure aseptic technique, and document care and billing details.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Radiography as per IEMA.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT registration in Radiography is noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate related equipment.
• Understand hemodynamic concepts and fluoroscopic anatomy for procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation in line with policy.
• Prepare sterile field and maintain aseptic technique.
• Assist in equipment setup, wiring, and data recording for procedures.
• Document care, charges, and CPT codes accurately.
