Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular and EP procedures, operating imaging equipment and monitoring hemodynamics. The role requires radiologic technology certification and compliance with aseptic technique.

Responsibilities include sedation administration, accurate documentation, EKG interpretation, and collaboration with the care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a busy cardiac lab.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology (Required).
• BLS Provider through AHA certification.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Registered Radiography (ARRT) credential.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Maintain hemodynamic monitoring and interpret data during procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation per policy and ensure patient safety.
• Set up sterile field and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Document care, interpret EKGs/arrhythmias, and support team during labs.
