Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab technologist to assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate advanced imaging systems. You will apply knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, and sedation to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires accuracy in documentation, aseptic technique, and collaboration with physicians and nursing teams to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction within the Cath Lab environment.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, and radiologic tech certifications.
• Certificate of completion in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Experience with cardiac/vascular imaging procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Understand hemodynamic concepts and cardiac anatomy/physiology relevant to procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient safety.
• Operate fluoroscopic imaging and associated equipment for procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field throughout procedures.
• Document procedures and ensure accurate charging and reporting.
