Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Cath Lab professional to support invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures, operate advanced imaging systems, and monitor hemodynamics. You will work with cardiologists to provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role requires BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and ARRT Radiography certification, with an emphasis on aseptic technique, patient comfort, and teamwork. A sign-on bonus and relocation options are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography – IEMA
• ACLS within 1 year – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered in Radiography (R) – ARRT

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic/therapeutic coronary/vascular/EP procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Understand hemodynamic concepts, cardiac anatomy and physiology relevant to procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic field setup for each procedure.
• Interpret EKGs and promptly alert the physician of any anomalies.
• Collaborate with team members to plan patient care and improve outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety, educate patients during procedures, and address anesthesia needs as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment and manage data/records for procedures.
