Job summary

Houston Methodist is currently seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist for a full-time position in Houston. The role requires ARRT-R, CMRT, BLS and ACLS certification, with a minimum of three years of Cath Lab radiologic experience.

Internal HM candidates with two years of Cath Lab work, including at least one year with HM, may be considered. The job involves performing interventional procedures, scrubbing into cases, and ensuring imaging quality and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist.
• HM Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist with at least 2 years Cath Lab exp, including 1 with HM, may be considered.
• ARRT-R, CMRT, BLS, ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiologic procedures including peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, atherectomy, laser, and coronary ultrasound.
• Actively participate and scrub into Cath Lab cases, assist with equipment movement and radiation control.
• Provide patient care by applying radiologic concepts to maximize imaging quality; adjust factors and address complications.
• Document charges accurately and maintain complete patient procedure records.
• Participate in safety, QC, and infection control procedures.
