Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II with extensive experience in cardiovascular procedures, including interventional and electrophysiology cases. The role involves assisting physicians, scrubbing into cases, and maintaining radiation safety across procedures.

The position emphasizes mentorship and collaboration with Cath Lab staff, RN's, and students while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
• Sufficient English language proficiency to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures including but not limited to: peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, artherectomy, laser, and coronary ultrasound; electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implantation.
• Actively participates and scrubs into Cath Lab cases to assist with movement and alignment of equipment and radiation control.
• Provides care for the physical needs of patients by executing radiologic concepts to maximize performance and safety.
