Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II for a full-time role in the Cardiovascular Lab. The position requires four 10-hour shifts weekly (6:45am–5:15pm) with on-call duties, and active participation in interventional procedures under physician direction to support complex coronary and peripheral cases.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years Cath Lab experience, ARRT-R, CMRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and demonstrates strong teamwork, patient care, and radiation

Qualifications

• 3+ years Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist experience
• ARRT-R Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) required
• CMRT - State licensure required
• BLS or Instructor (AHA) required
• ACLS or Instructor (AHA) required

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures in Cath Lab
• Scrubs into Cath Lab cases to assist with movement and alignment of equipment and radiation control
• Delivers patient care with imaging optimization and safety
• Maintains radiation safety standards and infection control
• Documents procedures and charges accurately
