Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT, is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to support the cath lab team. You will assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and collect essential anatomical and physiologic data for physician interpretation.

This full-time role (40 hours) offers 10-hour shifts, requires BLS/ACLS, and involves maintaining equipment, labeling charts, following radiation safety, and recording hemodynamic data. Benefits include a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
• BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret; write reports and procedures; communicate with managers and public.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures, percentages, area, and volume; apply algebra and geometry.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain patient files and label charts, including iodine allergy labeling.
• Prepare and clean equipment; inspect catheters and guide wires.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and schedule procedures in lab.
• Record procedure data and recognize dysrhythmias; understand hemodynamic data.
• Operate cath lab systems and PACS; assist in cardioversion procedures.
