Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular interventional, neuro interventional and spine interventional imaging procedures
• Evaluates the request for radiographic service and assesses the patient to determine the procedure protocol
• Corroborates patient’s clinical history with procedure and documents information
• Prepare patient for procedures and provide instructions to obtain desired results
• Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate programs
• Position the patient to best demonstrate the area of interest while considering comfort
• Uses imaging systems and positioning techniques to generate interventional images
• Cares for the patient according to standards of nursing care and safety
• Document imaging procedures for charging and records
• Monitor stock of supplies and maintain a clean environment
• Report equipment failures or irregularities promptly
• Provide imaging services with quality and productivity while delivering customer service
• Collect data to support quality management metrics
• Engage in process improvement to enhance service quality
• Identify areas for improvement and propose corrective actions
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure continuity of care
