Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiographer to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging in the Cardiac Cath Lab and to support patient care during procedures.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Applied Sciences, ARRT and BCLS certifications, and strong computer and communication skills. The candidate will work in a fast-paced clinical setting with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and patient experience at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Sciences required.
• ARRT certification and BCLS certification required.
• Maintains ongoing credentialing competencies and CE requirements.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac Catheterization Lab radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
• Obtain hemodynamic data and digital angiograms per protocol and policy.
• Assess requests and determine appropriate procedure protocol and application.
• Position patients and ensure asepsis and radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures and ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Maintain supply stock and report equipment issues promptly.
