Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology.
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist
• Registered with and certified by the ARRT or current license as a Registered Nurse in applicable state
• Registry or license as it pertains to Allied Health field of expertise

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes teamwork.
• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies; ACLS/BCLS readiness.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment with radiation safety.
• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in the cath lab.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation across systems.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Provides 24-hour emergency call coverage for Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Administers medications under physician supervision.
• Provides instruction and training to co-workers and trainees.
• Maintains competency and completes required POCT data and education requirements.
