Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology.
• Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiovascular Specialist.
• Registered with and certified by the ARRT or current RN license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes teamwork; follows policies.
• Ensures readiness of emergency equipment and supplies; responds to emergencies.
• Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic cardiac catheterization equipment; daily checks.
• Prepares medications and checks emergency equipment before procedures.
• Maintains patient care and communicates clearly with patients and families.
• Provides coverage for 24-hour emergency call; on-call rotations.
