(Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Physician-Invasive Cardiology Program Manager to lead the Cardiology Program and advance cardiovascular care for Veterans. You will provide clinical leadership for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, supervise trainees, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for patients across inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible interventional cardiologist.
• MD degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Current, unrestricted medical license in any US state or DC.
• Board certification/eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Acting Section Chief as needed.
• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to adult inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform invasive cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment and discharge plans.
• Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and education activities.
• Ensure accurate medical records and documentation.
