Job summary

The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Kernersville, NC, seeks a Physician-Invasive Cardiology Program Manager to lead the Cardiology Program and advance cardiovascular care for Veterans.

Responsibilities include medical direction of the Cath Lab, patient-centered care, and collaboration across the facility. Qualifications include MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology, and an unrestricted US medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Acting Section Chief as needed.
• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care to adults.
• Perform invasive cardiology procedures and manage cardiovascular conditions.
• Supervise trainees and staff; mentor residents and fellows.

Education

Doctor of Medicine degree

Board-certified/Board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology

Unrestricted medical license in United States
