AMN Healthcare seeks an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in California. Start date ASAP with a daily pay rate of $2,764.50–$2,992.50. The role involves 24-hour call coverage and hospital-based practice, with credentialing in 60–90 days.

Proficiency in STEMI management and interventional procedures is required. Board certification and CA licensure are mandatory, with BLS, ACLS, and DEA registrations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in interventional cardiology with active CA license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including STEMI interventions.
• Manage 24-hour call shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM, 14 shifts/month).
• Provide patient care in a hospital setting and coordinate with care teams.

Interventional Cardiology Physician

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour call 7:00 AM-7:00 AM | 14 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Type of Cases and Required Procedures: ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients, perform all diagnostic and interventional procedures (including the placement of intra-aortic balloon pump and impella). Cardia diagnostics including echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), stress, and nuclear testing.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Drug Enforcement Administration registration
• Licensure Required: Active California medical license
