Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in California. The schedule runs 10/1-4/1/27, with clinic hours 8:00AM-5:00PM and 24‑hour weekend on‑call coverage. Inpatient rounding is included on select days.

Board-certified applicants with BLS, ACLS, and DEA/CSR are required, and California license is necessary. Epic is used for EMR. 60–90 day credentialing timeframe. Malpractice insurance arranged by AMN.

Responsibilities

• General cardiology cases with 24‑hour call coverage.
• Respond promptly to facility calls and emergencies.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 10/1-4/1/27 | Clinic plus 24 hour call coverage. Clinic is Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, Weekend 24 hour. 8:00AM-8:00AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday – this is a package covering clinic & emergency department) Inpatient rounding included on Monday & Friday.
• Practice Setting: Clinic plus call
• Type of cases and required procedures:General cases, must be able to respond to calls from the Facility in a timely manner. Inpatient rounding.
• Credentialing timeframe:60-90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):Epic
• Certifications required: Board certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
• Licensure required:California State License
