Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in California. The assignment runs 10/01/2024 through 04/01/2027, with clinic hours Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and 24-hour weekend call including ED coverage.

The role involves general interventional cases, inpatient rounding on Mon and Fri, and timely responses to facility calls. Credentialing is 60–90 days; California license and board certification required. EMR is Epic.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA/CSR credentials required.
• California state license required.
• Credentialing timeframe 60–90 days.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinic logistics include 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, weekdays with 24-hour weekend call.
• Inpatient rounding on Monday and Friday.
• Respond to calls from the facility in a timely manner.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 10/1-4/1/27 | Clinic plus 24 hour call coverage. Clinic is Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, Weekend 24 hour. 8:00AM-8:00AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday – this is a package covering clinic & emergency department) Inpatient rounding included on Monday & Friday.
• Practice Setting: Clinic plus call
• Type of cases and required procedures:General cases, must be able to respond to calls from the Facility in a timely manner. Inpatient rounding.
• Credentialing timeframe:60-90 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR):Epic
• Certifications required: Board certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
• Licensure required:California State License
