Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Fort Myers, FL. The role includes weekend rounding (Sat–Sun, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and weekend call (Fri 5 PM–Mon 8 AM) within an inpatient hospital setting, performing cardiac catheterization and related heart procedures.

The ideal candidate holds active board certification in cardiology with interventional focus and can start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Licensure: clear board certification required in interventional cardiology.
• Must have active medical license in the state of Florida or eligible for licensure.
• Experience in inpatient hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weekend rounding on Saturdays and Sundays, 8 AM–5 PM.
• Weekend call coverage Friday 5 PM through Monday 8 AM.
• Work in an inpatient hospital setting performing interventional cardiac procedures.

This facility is seeking a Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity

Schedule: Weekend rounding Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM-5 PM; weekend call Friday 5 PM through Monday 8 AM.

Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital.

Types of Cases: Interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, heart procedures, heart ultrasound through the esophagus, and cardioversion.

Licensure Required: Clear nurse practitioner board certification required.
