Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support to cover inpatient services at two hospitals in the Charleston area. Expect 24-hour call duties with APP support for rounding and consults.

Requirements include board certification in Interventional Cardiology and an active North Carolina license. EMR: eClinicalWorks. Credentialing typically 45–60 days.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active North Carolina medical license required.
• Experience with invasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient coverage at two hospitals (Trident Hospital and Summerville) with APP support.
• Respond to Interventional Cardiology call and cover approximately two-thirds of the schedule.
• 24-hour call coverage and invasive cardiology procedures as assigned.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24 hour call coverage
• Practice Setting: Inpatient coverage at two hospitals (Trident Hospital and Summerville) with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support for inpatient rounding and consults
• Type of cases and required procedures: invasive cardiac procedures and responding to Interventional Cardiology call. Physician will cover approximately two-thirds of the call schedule.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks (ECW)
• Certifications required: Board Certified Interventional Cardiology
• Licensure required: Active North Carolina license
