Job summary

Ochsner Health in Kenner, LA, seeks a Radiology Technologist to join our heart catheterization laboratory team. You will operate fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment, monitor patient vitals, assist during procedures, prepare rooms and ensure radiologic safety.

This role requires an Associate degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT registration, BLS and ACLS within 3 months of hire, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in radiologic sciences and ARRT registration.
• BLS; ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient setup and prep before procedures and post-procedure cleanup.
• Operates radiographic fluoroscopy equipment to image coronary and peripheral vessels.
• Monitors hemodynamic data and reports values to physician.
• Ensures safe radiation delivery to patients and staff.
• Transmits and retrieves digital images (PACS).
• Maintains equipment with regular quality control.
