Job summary

Ochsner Health in Kenner, LA seeks a skilled radiologic technologist to support the heart catheterization laboratory. This role operates fluoroscopy, manages PACS, monitors patient vitals, and assists the physician during procedures while ensuring radiation safety and accurate documentation.

You will prepare rooms, equipment, and patient for interventions, liaise with the Radiation Safety Officer, and adapt to a flexible schedule, including on-call availability and weekends.

Qualifications

• Required - Associate degree in radiologic sciences.
• Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences.
• Required - Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist and ARRT registration.

Responsibilities

• Assists team in patient setup and prep for procedures.
• Operates radiographic fluoroscopy to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitors hemodynamics and reports values to the physician.
• Maintains safe radiation delivery and documents in the PACS.
