Job summary

The Liberty Street Hospital in Meadville, PA is seeking an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist for a full-time position. You will perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, maintain equipment, ensure radiation safety, and collaborate with radiology staff and physicians.

A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered. Minimum qualifications include an accredited radiologic technologist education, registry eligibility or current registration, and ACLS certification within

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of Radiology and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist or registry eligible pass the registry within one year of hire.
• Must have current ACLS certification or obtain within six months of assignment in department.
• Stroke education is required if assigned to Neuro-Alert Team.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, Angioplasty and Coronary Intervention.
• Reads orders and ensures the correct tests are performed according to protocol.
• Maintains equipment, safety, and cleanliness; monitors and records ECG and hemodynamic data.
• Schedules and coordinates special procedures with nursing and radiology staff.
• Explains procedures to patients and positions them appropriately for exams.
