Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with experience in cardiac catheterization to join the interventional lab team. Under supervision, you will assist physicians during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures and perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties.

Required are graduation from an approved radiologic program, ARRT certification, RCIS preferred (within 24 months), and 2–3 years in a cath lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification required; RCIS preferred (must obtain within 24 months).
• 2–3 years in diagnostic/interventional cath lab preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiac physiology, 12-Lead EKG interpretation and pacemaker operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties for cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology.
• Provide patient care assessment before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare and maintain all procedural documentation.
