Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrub and circulating support, and image acquisition. You will support the imaging service line, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS within 120 days.
• State licensure and/or certifications as applicable.
• PALS within 120 days for pediatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policy.
• Operates IR equipment and information systems to produce quality images.
• Prepares patient, verifies identity and orders for the exam.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains safety for patients and staff.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and consent processes.
• Educates patient, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and any adverse events.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• Post-procedure sheath management for hemostasis.
