Performance Academies in Toledo is seeking an experienced Intervention Specialist to deliver high-quality special education services within our K-8 and high school programs. You will develop IEPs, collaborate with general educators, and implement accommodations to support students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist teaching license.
• Background checks per state and federal requirements.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Ohio special education regulations.
• Experience with student data analysis and progress monitoring.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 Plans, and BIPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices and co-teaching.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction aligned with each student's plan.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service logs, assessment data, and progress reports.
• Advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social needs of students with disabilities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEPs, ETRs, FBAs, BIPs, 504 Plans, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP, Evaluation Team, and intervention meetings.
