Job summary

Performance Academies is seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our Middletown Preparatory and Fitness Academy campus. You will provide targeted instruction and interventions for students with IEPs, 504 plans, and BIPs, collaborating with general education staff to support inclusive practices.

You will monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and advocate for students’ academic, behavioral, and social needs in a structured, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (Special Education) teaching license.
• Experience with IEPs, evaluations, and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and intervention for students with IEPs, 504 plans, and BIPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and co-teaching.
• Implement accommodations and modifications per student plans.
• Monitor progress and maintain service logs and progress reports.
• Advocate for needs of students with disabilities.
