Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full-room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room.
• High comfort in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities, assist in intervention strategies, and modify curricula as needed.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Communicate regularly with families about student academic and social-emotional growth.
• Participate in planning non-instructional activities and events.
