Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience with full inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Growth-focused coaching with frequent observations, debriefs, action planning and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook).
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks.
• Experience in a multi-cultural setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities and plan intervention strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals.
• Monitor progress toward student achievement and school culture goals.
• Use research-based practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Incorporate culturally responsive teaching in lessons and interactions.
• Serve as advisor for a designated group of students.
• Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Assist with planning field trips and non-instructional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
