Job summary

You will collaborate with teachers to adapt curricula, conduct assessments, and develop behavior plans that drive academic and social-emotional growth.

The role emphasizes inclusive practices, family communication, and ongoing planning for student success within ACCEL Schools’ network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full-room inclusion or Co-Teaching in Resource Room model.
• Comfort with growth-focused coaching based on observations, debriefs, and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and adapt interventions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals and objectives.
• Engage families regarding student progress and collaborate with teams.
• Support planning for non-instructional activities and events.
