ACCEL Schools is seeking an Intervention Specialist at Northside Preparatory Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio to support students with an Individualized Education Program in a nurturing, rigorous classroom.

The role includes collaborating with teachers, conducting eligibility assessments, writing IEP goals, and engaging families to promote student achievement and social-emotional growth. A state license and Co-Teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current state license and knowledge of State Standards/Common Core Standards.
• Experience with full inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Work with teachers to interpret abilities and disabilities and modify general education curricula.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction and functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior plans and IEP goals; facilitate IEP meetings.
