Job summary

Inovalon seeks an Associate Vice President of Interoperability Strategy, Operations & Partnerships to lead the enterprise interoperability program across healthcare data exchange, standards, and connectivity.

This executive will drive the strategy, operating model, and partner ecosystem to securely acquire, exchange, normalize, and operationalize data across payers, providers, EHRs, HIEs, QHINs, and other partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare technology, interoperability, data exchange, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards and technologies (FHIR, HL7, X12/EDI, C-CDA/CCD, APIs).
• Experience leading large-scale interoperability, integrations, or data exchange initiatives.
• Proven ability to establish and manage strategic relationships with healthcare organizations and technology partners.
• Strong understanding of CMS and ONC interoperability regulations and data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise interoperability strategy and multi-year roadmap across clinical, administrative, claims, provider, and other data domains.
• Lead a scalable operating model for interoperability and healthcare data exchange with executive oversight.
• Build and manage executive-level relationships with EHR vendors, HIEs, QHINs, health systems, payers, and technology partners.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, machine learning, and analytics to improve data acquisition and workflow efficiency.
• Develop capacity, financial, and operational models to scale interoperability capabilities with company growth.
• Represent Inovalon with senior executives and industry leaders in interoperability initiatives.
