The Internship Program Assistant at the Sentry School of Business and Economics (SSBE) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point supports the Internship Program by coordinating student authorizations, employer communications, and the Internship Expo. This student hourly position requires 6–10 hours per week between 8 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m., enrollment in at least 12 undergraduate credits, and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Reports to the Director of Internships.
The Internship Program Assistant plays a central role in helping coordinate the SSBE Internship Program. This includes managing student authorization workflows, supporting employer communication, and organizing the Internship Expo—one of the school’s largest recurring events.
Assist students in the internship credit authorization process, including tracking submissions and communicating deadlines.
Maintain program databases and records accurately and confidentially.
Respond to student and employer inquiries related to internship opportunities.
Help plan and execute the Internship Expo, held three times a year.
Communicate with employers and departments to organize logistics and registration.
Promote the event through email outreach and on-campus marketing.
Attend weekly check-in meetings with the Director of Internships.
Maintain a consistent work schedule, with flexibility around academic demands.
Track and report tasks and hours; complete personnel documentation as required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Comfort with email platforms, spreadsheets, and online forms.
Professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
