Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites applications for an International Intern to join our Supply Chain team in Alabama.

This paid internship offers exposure to project management, business intelligence, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across our supply chain operations. You will work with stakeholders to develop data‑driven solutions and drive improvements from ideation to implementation.

Qualifications

• English fluency in speech and writing.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile, waterfall, or hybrid PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed records of project milestones and timelines.
• Assist in developing dashboards and digital solutions for Supply Chain processes.

• Update project documentation and team communications (Teams/SharePoint).
• Support planning, coordination, and logistics of team events and meetings.

Essential Functions:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated International Intern to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in project management, business intelligence, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain. You will contribute to real business projects, support the development of data-driven solutions, and work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements. Strong performers will have the opportunity to take ownership of individual projects and drive solutions from idea to implementation.

Other regular daily tasks:

• Keep detailed and up-to-date records of project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
• Support the development of dashboards, analyses, automations, and other digital solutions that help improve Supply Chain processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Regularly update internal documents such as team presentations, project documentation, and team channels (e.g., Microsoft Teams or SharePoint).
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and logistics of team events, workshops, and meetings.
• Offer general support for meetings, presentations, project implementations, and other project-related activities.

Qualifikationen

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Student in: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, MIS or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Fluent in English (oral/written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn agile, waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Understanding of the process for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data, interpret insights, and support decision-making.
• Experience with or interest in learning Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps (preferred but not required).

• April 2027

Requirements:

• Currently enrolledat auniversityor in a gap yea between Bachelor's and Master's degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A
• A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6 months

Benefits:

• Paid internship - hourly rate $18
• Coverage of VISA cost
• $700 housing bonus
