Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama is offering an internship to support the Financial Operations Team with continuous improvement projects, administrative tasks, and digitalization of processes.

You will use Power BI, Excel Power Query, PowerPoint (ThinkCell), OneNote and other tools to improve reporting, and you will participate in projects to automate routine tasks, including the Monthly QTC tire payment process.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Controlling, MIS, Computer Science or related area.
• Necessary Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, VBA preferred; detail-oriented; able to handle multiple tasks; tech-savvy; fast learner; willing to work administrative and strategic tasks.
• Preferred: Power BI and Power Query proficiency; SAP knowledge; project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Operations Team with continuous improvement projects and administrative tasks.
• Digitize processes and tasks; develop automated solutions using RPA, Power BI, Excel Power Query.
• Create efficiencies in reporting using Power BI, Excel Power Query, and ThinkCell.
• Manage monthly QTC tire payment process and document workflows.
• Assist in project management for new financial system implementation.
• Prepare meeting support, calendar management, and ad-hoc reporting.

Essential Functions:

• This internship position supports the Financial Operations Team with continuous improvement projects, administrative tasks, and digitalization of processes and tasks

• Use Power BI, Excel Power Query, PowerPoint (with ThinkCell), One Note and other tools to create efficiencies in reporting

• Generate ideas for CI in other processes using new technology

• Responsible developer for Digitalization project/s.: Work on special project to transform manual routine tasks into automated solutions using RPA, Power BI, Excel Power Query, etc.

• Perform Monthly QTC tire payment process

• Create, edit, and refine work instructions and process documentation

• Support Project Management for new financial system implementation

Other regular daily tasks:

• Support team in preparation and organization of meetings and events (requires mass email communication)

• Perform administrative tasks including calendar management, ad-hoc reporting, compiling information/data, email communication, and other tasks

• Complete and support any other projects or tasks as assigned

• Project Management support, scheduling meetings / organizing calendars, preparing documentation, communicate training verbally

Qualifikationen

Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree inFinance/Controlling, MIS, Computer Science or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products required, Imphasis on Excel, VBA preferred.

• High attention to detail, especially with communication and presentations

• Ability to work under pressure and complete a plethora of tasks in a timely manner

• Skilled in using technology and digital platforms

• Fast learner with ability to think outside the box

• Willingness to work on administrative as well as strategic tasks

• Preferred: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Power Bi and Power Query

• SAP Knowledge

• Project Management experience

• April 2027

Benefits:

• Paid Internship- hourly rate $18

• Coverage of visa costs

• $700 monthly housing stipend

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master’s degree

• Studies outside of the U.S.A

• A minimum of 3semesters of studies in relevant field of study

• Available for a minimum of 6months
