Job summary

Jobtailor in Morristown, NJ seeks a candidate with actuarial and data science interests to work on cross-functional projects across Commercial and Financial Lines of business. You will develop and refine processes, collaborate with seasoned actuaries, data scientists, and product specialists, and deepen insurance domain knowledge.

Applicants should have coursework in actuarial science or data science, with hands-on experience in R or Python, and strong communication and independent work skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant coursework/exams in actuarial science or data science a plus.
• Data Science: R or Python coding experience (stats and web development packages an added plus)
• Actuarial and Product: Excel or R experience required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing
• Ability to manage time and work effectively independently
