Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics professional to provide strategic business intelligence on financial and operational performance for health plan initiatives. You will compile and analyze claims, enrollment, and revenue data, and build models under supervision to support critical decisions.

Responsibilities include designing reporting, communicating results to stakeholders, and collaborating with government and strategic partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Relevant experience required; may combine with Master's degree.
• Actuarial skills and insurance finance concepts preferred.
• Computer literacy and actuarial/statistical modeling knowledge required.
• Experience analyzing complex data, regulations, and standards.
• East Coast residency in the EST time zone.

• Communicate summarized results via narratives, visuals, dashboards and presentations.
• Support internal/external/government stakeholders and strategic partners.
• Provide analytical support using data analysis tools and software.
• Analyze datasets, models, publications, and reporting requirements.
• Apply actuarial concepts including credibility, simulation, frequency, and severity.
• Participate in data validation with other departments and external parties.
• Execute and maintain routine reporting, including Model Audit Rule documentation.

• Compile claims, enrollment, revenue, and other statistical data for assigned projects
• Conduct data analysis and financial modeling with supervision and guidance
• Design reporting to support Health Plan requirements and initiatives
• Communicate summarized results to stakeholders through written narratives, graphical representations, presentations, dashboards, and verbal summaries
• Support initiatives for internal or external/government stakeholders and strategic business partners
• Provide analytical and technical support using data analysis tools and software
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative datasets, models, publications, regulations, guidelines, business rules, reporting requirements, and standards
• Apply business, statistical, and actuarial concepts including credibility, simulation, frequency, and severity
• Participate in validation and exchange of data with other departments, strategic business partners, and external parties
• Execute, validate, and maintain routine reporting assignments, including policy and procedure and Model Audit Rule documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study (Required)
• Relevant experience (Required), with relevant experience potentially combined with a Master's degree and/or completed Actuarial Exams
• Skills in actuarial functions
