Job summary

Sunset Kia of Sarasota, part of Sunset Automotive Group, is seeking an Internet Sales Associate to turn online inquiries into vehicle sales. You’ll engage customers where they shop—online—and guide them through the buying process with technology-driven methods.

No automotive experience is required; we provide training. You’ll respond to leads, schedule visits, demonstrate vehicles, and help customers choose the right car while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Strong English communication skills; clear and persuasive.
• Valid driver's license; ability to meet customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers through internet leads, email, chat, text, and phone.
• Follow up with online shoppers and move them from browsing to buying.

• Help customers identify the right vehicle (new or pre-owned).

What You'll Do

As an Internet Sales Associate, you'll work with customers who are beginning their vehicle-shopping journey online.

You’ll

• Respond to customers through internet leads, email, chat, text, and phone
• Follow up with online shoppers and help move them from browsing to buying
• Ask the right questions to understand what each customer wants and needs
• Help customers identify the right new or pre-owned vehicle
• Schedule appointments and prepare customers for their dealership visit
• Demonstrate vehicles, technology, features, and options
• Guide customers through pricing and vehicle purchase decisions
• Build relationships that create repeat and referral business
• Maintain strong knowledge of our vehicles, features, and accessories
• Participate in dealership-provided product and sales training

This is not just an appointment-setting or call-center position. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with your customers and sell vehicles from the initial online inquiry through the purchase.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need prior automotive experience to succeed here. You do need to be motivated, comfortable with technology, and genuinely good with people and interested in helping them find the right vehicle for their needs.
