Job summary

Swickard Auto Group's Lexus of Thousand Oaks is seeking an Internet Sales Consultant to convert digital inquiries into booked appointments and closed deals. You will respond quickly to leads, build rapport, and guide customers from online inquiry to purchase with hospitality and brand-aligned communication.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year automotive online sales experience, CRM discipline, and the ability to manage high lead volume while staying personal and professional.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive sales in a franchised dealership.
• Internet sales, BDC, or e-commerce experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of Thousand Oaks, CA.
• Lexus or luxury brand experience a strong plus.
• CRM discipline — no cold leads and no skipped follow-up steps.
• Fast, clear, and professional written communicator.
• Comfortable managing high lead volume while keeping a personal touch.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Hospitality mindset reflected in guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to internet leads via phone, email, and text.

• Maintain CRM records and stay updated on inventory and market trends.
• Support dealership events and ensure vehicles are sale-ready.

• 1+ year of automotive sales experience in a franchised dealership -- required
• Internet sales, BDC, or e-commerce sales experience strongly preferred -- candidates who have worked leads from inquiry to appointment to close will be at a significant advantage
• Must live within 30 miles of Thousand Oaks, CA -- required
• Lexus or luxury brand experience a strong plus
• CRM discipline -- you don't let leads go cold and you don't skip follow-up steps
• Fast, clear, and professional written communicator -- your emails and texts represent the Lexus brand
• Comfortable managing high lead volume simultaneously without losing the personal touch that earns appointments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• A hospitality mindset -- even behind a screen, every guest interaction reflects the standard of the brand
