Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager, International Tax Services to advise multinational clients on a broad spectrum of international tax matters, including planning, compliance, and risk mitigation. The role involves coordinating with BDO offices worldwide, training staff, and contributing to business development within the practice.

The position requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as extensive knowledge of U.S. and international tax rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Accounting or related major preferred.
• CPA, Attorney or EA required or equivalent.
• Four+ years in corporate or international tax or equivalent.
• Experience supervising tax professionals on projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tax Consulting: advise on international matters and client structures.
• Tax Specialization: develop expertise in international tax areas.
• Research: perform technical research and prepare written tax advice.
• Tax Compliance: oversee international aspects of U.S. tax reporting.
• Tax Controversy: support clients before tax authorities as needed.
• ASC 740-10: apply standards and train others on international tax aspects.
