Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager, International Tax Services to advise multinational clients on international tax planning, compliance, and risk management. You will coordinate with BDO teams worldwide and guide clients through complex tax laws while delivering practical, non-technical explanations.

The role combines client service, project leadership, mentoring junior staff, and business development responsibilities across diverse industries, with a focus on ASC 740 and transfer pricing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting or related major preferred
• CPA certification or equivalent (EA/Attorney) required or preferred depending on role
• Experience in corporate or international tax and professional services preferred
• Ability to supervise and mentor tax professionals on engagements
• Strong analytical and modeling skills for transfer pricing and ASC 740

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on international tax planning and compliance strategies
• Coordinates with foreign BDO offices and client service teams
• Manages international tax engagements and reviews tax provisions and returns
• Trains and mentors associates; supports business development efforts
• Represents clients in tax planning discussions and advises on risk management
• Develops and communicates tax positions clearly to non-technical audiences
• Oversees ASC 740 coordination and cross-jurisdictional compliance
