Ensign College is seeking a Student Employee to support the International Student Office and manage Instagram content. The role blends direct student assistance with creative communication to highlight resources, deadlines, and events for international students.

You will help verify immigration documents, respond to inquiries, and maintain calendars while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with college policies. This is a part-time on-campus role supporting a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits and in good academic standing.
• Pursuing a degree connected to Digital Marketing, Digital Content Creation, or Social Media Marketing at Ensign College.
• Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively, listen, and respond appropriately.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with international students, their families, and sponsors to provide guidance and support regarding the I-20 application process.
• Coordinate and verify immigration documentation, including passports, bank statements, and sponsor support.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and questions related to the F-1 student life cycle.
• Direct F-1 students to resources related to studying, employment and training opportunities, travel, and maintaining status.
• Process data and maintain confidential documents.
• Adhere to federal regulations for nonimmigrant visa holders, national and local laws, and college policies.
• Maintain the Instagram content calendar to coordinate timely posts about office announcements, deadlines, resources, and events.
• Develop engaging Instagram content that reflects the office’s messaging and supports international students.
• Review all Instagram content with the Director and obtain approval before posting.
• Create and update slides for the ISO office display.
• Assist with planning and producing videos for the website, Homebase, and Instagram.
• Uphold a professional and pleasant work environment.
• Complete research and other projects as assigned.
